Barcelona to lay off Luis Suarez, sell Vidal and Semedo to cash in new signings

FC Barcelona has decided to rescind the contract of club’s number nine, Luis Suarez.  According to close sources, a total agreement between the club and the striker has been reached. The Uruguayan will collect the part of the salary that is remaining on his contract and then bid the club adieu as a free agent.

Per reports, after his contract matter settles with the club, he’ll be heading towards joining Atletico Madrid. The Colchoneros are looking to loan out Alvaro Morata to make up space for the Uruguayan. Nothing concrete as of yet but the move towards Madrid is a real possibility. Suarez, who was to join the Italian heavyweights Juventus this month, could not be happened due to failure of obtaining European passport before the 6th of October, right near the close of transfer window. The Bianconeris foreseeing the negligible chance of his arrival at the club in time decided to discard the signing and are now pursuing Roma’s Edin Džeko.

In other breaking news, the Catalan club has also made a deal with Premier league side – Wolves FC to sell Portuguese international Nelson Semedo for £35 million and the Chilean, Arturo Vidal to Inter.
